The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) is the main contractor for the Chinese space program. It is state-owned and has a number of subordinate entities which design, develop and manufacture a range of spacecraft, launch vehicles and so on. Along with space and defence manufacture, CASC also produces a number of civilian products such as machinery, communications equiment, computers, medical care products, environmental protection equiment, etc.
My work has been done in Beijing Aerospace Guanghua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., which is all about civilian embedded system products and is not involved in any confidentiality.
Designed the patented control system independently for the vehicle-mounted satellite communication antenna (both static and in-motion versions), which enables the antenna to precisely and reliably align with specified satellites, leading to stable network connections in disaster areas.
Led a technical team of three and designed 80% of the PCB board and 100% software of the key module in vehicle-mounted satellite communication antenna devices, satellite beacon receiver, which makes a direct profit of more than one million AUD for the company and leads to a commercialised patent.
Power board utilised for multiple electrical appliances of the company, including static satellite communication antenna, satellite communication antenna in motion and so on. In charge of all the design and soldering work of these modules, which has been proved to be reliable to supply power to the company-owned products.
A key business of the company is to design RF signal processing modules. The highest signal frequency on this board is 12 kHz.
An eight-layer board, with lots of buried hole inside and delicate routing, meeting the Chinese military standards of PCB design.
